Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, EITHER ONE OF THE WHEELS OR THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED SO FAST THAT HE DID NOT KNOW THE PARTICULAR WHEEL THAT LOCKED, STATING THAT IT COULD HAVE BEEN THE STEERING WHEEL. THE DRIVER LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO AN ALUMINUM BARRIER. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000.
