Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ODOR OF FUEL WAS PRESENT OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE. UPON INSPECTION, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT FUEL HAD LEAKED FROM WHERE THE FILLER HOSE CONNECTED TO THE FUEL TANK. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER (NEWINS FORD IN BAYSHORE, NEW YORK) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000. *TT *TR
