Consumer Description

NHTSA RECALL NUMBER 17V509 WAS ISSUED 8/16/2017. THIS VW RECALL IS ABOUT A FUEL PUMP FAILURE. SO FAR THE FUEL PUMP IS OK, BUT A FAILURE IS POTENTIALLY A BIG SAFETY ISSUE. AS OF 2/20/2018, VW DOES NOT HAVE A DATE WHEN A FIX WILL BE AVAILABLE. I WANT TO TRADE IN THE CC TO BUY AN AUDI, BUT THE AUDI DEALER WON'T TAKE A TRADE-IN SINCE THERE IS AN OUTSTANDING RECALL ON THE CC. WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED?
