TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND ALL THE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ONCE. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN REVERSE, IT FAILED TO MOVE FORWARD AND STARTED TO SMOKE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V435000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 146,000.
