TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE SPONTANEOUSLY DOWNSHIFTED AND STALLED. ALSO, THE ALTERNATOR WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. A TOWING COMPANY JUMPSTARTED THE BATTERY AND THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000.
