TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 VOLKSWAGEN CC. THE CONTACT WAS AWARE OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER; 17V509000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LINDSAY VOLKSWAGEN OF DULLES (22455 LINDSAY CARS CT, STERLING, VA 20166) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND TO KEEP IN CONTACT WITH THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
