TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 AUDI Q5. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE ONLY OCCURRED IN THE WINTER MONTHS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER (RAY CATENA AUDI TOMS RIVER EAST, 325 NJ-37, TOMS RIVER, NJ 08753), BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 48,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
