Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD TAURUS. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH AND MAKING A LEFT TURN, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO DECELERATE AND STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, WAITED A FEW MINUTES, AND WAS ABLE TO RESUME DRIVING. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO VERNER CADBY FORD (1240 BLOOMFIELD AVE, FAIRFIELD, NJ 07004) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY, INJECTION KIT, AND FUEL KIT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,600. *TT
