Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FORD EXPLORER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH, THERE WAS A STRONG ODOR COMING FROM INSIDE THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE CAUSED THE CONTACT TO SUSTAIN A HEADACHE, DIZZINESS, EYES WATERED, LIPS DRIED AND HAD CHEST PAIN THAT REQUIRED NO MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LASCO FORD DEALER LOCATED AT 2525 OWEN RD, FENTON, MI 48430 WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE INSULATE 05 AND THE VALVE A009 NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED AND WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000.
