Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF ENGINE POWER. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AUTOEASTERN NISSAN OF MEADOWLANDS DEALER LOCATED AT 45 S, RTE 17, HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE CVT TRANSMISSION WAS DEFECTIVE AND THE VALVE BODY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND OFFERED TO PARTIALLY PAY FOR THE REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 67,600.
