Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING AND THE "SHIFT TO PARK" ERROR MESSAGE DISPLAYED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE LOST POWER COMPLETELY, BUT WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED BY SHIFTING TO PARK. IN ADDITION, ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO ACCELERATE AND LURCHED FORWARD WHILE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. HEGGS CHRYSLER IN MASA, ARIZONA REPROGRAMMED THE COMPUTER AND REPLACED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 11,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
