Consumer Description

TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 BMW 335I. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V071000 (AIR BAGS) EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR REPAIR. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION IN FEBUARY OF 2017. THE DEALER (GLOBAL IMPORTS, 500 INTERSTATE NORTH PKWY SE, ATLANTA, GA 30339) STATED THAT THE PARTS WERE AVALIABLE, BUT NEEDED TO BE ORDERED. THE CONTACT REQUESTED TO HAVE THE PARTS ORDERED TWICE, BUT DID NOT HEAR BACK FROM THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED. THE DEALER GUARANTEED THAT THE REMEDY WAS AVALIABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
