Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 JEEP CHEROKEE. WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE INADVERTENTLY STALLED AND LOST POWER. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO RESTART THE VEHICLE, IT FAILED TO CRANK FOR ONE MINUTE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A "PLEASE SWITCH TO P THEN DESIRED GEAR" INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NASHVILLE CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (NEW OWNERS FREELAND JEEP) (5800 CROSSINGS BLVD, ANTIOCH, TN 37013, (615) 866-6060), BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH THE VIN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33,000.
