Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO RICK HENDRICK CHEVROLET NORFOLK (6252 E VIRGINIA BEACH BLVD, NORFOLK, VA 23502, PHONE NUMBER: (757) 266-5804) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR BAG HAD SHORTED OUT AND CODE B0022-0D WAS FOUND. THE PRESSURE SEAT BELT RESISTANCE WAS TOO HIGH AND DIELECTRIC GREASE NEEDED TO BE ADDED TO THE ELECTRIC CONNECTOR OF THE SEAT BELT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,472.
