Consumer Description

VEHICLE STALLS AND HIGH SPEEDS AND GOES INTO "LIMP MODE" WHERE VEHICLE LOSES ALL POWER AND ACCELERATION. VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY BEGINS TO DECELERATE IN TRAFFIC CAUSING A VERY DANGEROUS AND HAZARDOUS SITUATION FOR THE DRIVER AND OTHER VEHICLES. THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED 8 TIMES IN MY TAURUS 5 OF WHICH WAS IN THE INTERSTATE IN EXCESS OF 70MPH. *TT CONSUMER STATED ISSUE WAS NOT RELATED TO THE FUEL PUMP, ISSUE WAS CAUSED BY THE FAULTY THROTTLE BODY. WARRANTY DID NOT COVER THE PART AND CONSUMER ENDED UP PAYING OUT OF POCKET FOR THE REPAIR. UPDATED 7/25/18*JB *TR
