Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V250000 (STEERING). THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR LATER. THE THOMASVILLE FORD LINCOLN DEALER (1515 E JACKSON ST, THOMASVILLE, GA 31792; 229-226-5133) REPLACED THE RACK AND PINON, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OPENED A CASE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,000.
