Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME INOPERABLE WITHOUT WARNING. THE LOCAL DEALER (RIVER VIEW FORD, 2200 US-30, OSWEGO, IL) WAS CONTACTED AND SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V284000 (STEERING). THE VIN WAS INVALID.
