Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE ODOR OF EXHAUST FUMES WAS PRESENT INSIDE THE CABIN COMING FROM THE VENTS. THE FAILURE MAINLY OCCURRED WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (JORDAN FORD IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS) BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT CARBON MONOXIDE WAS PRESENT WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,000.
