Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED AND ATTEMPTING TO DEPRESS THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE CONTACT SMELLED EXHAUST FUMES FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER (MCLARTY DANIEL FORD IN BENTONVILLE, AR) WHERE THE FILTER WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 10.
