TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD TAURUS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE STEERING BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO VAN BORTEL FORD (71 MARSH RD. EAST ROCHESTER, NY 14445) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER CONFIRMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V340000(STEERING). THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND VIN WERE UNKNOWN.
