Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 MERCEDES BENZ GLC300. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V114000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) HOWEVER, THE PART FOR THE RECALL REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED ANY FAILURE. THE CONTACT CONTACTED THE MERECEDEZ BENZ OF FLORENCE DEALER WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE PARTS FOR THE REPAIR WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE AND THE VEHICLE WAS SAFE TO USE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE.
