Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SEATBACK BECAME LOOSE AND ERRONEOUSLY RECLINED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (BRANDON FORD IN BRANDON, FL) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SEAT FRAME WAS CRACKED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
