Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 TOYOTA TACOMA. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STOPPED MOVING ABRUPTLY AND CAME TO A ROLLING STOP ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE CHECK ENGINE, LOW OIL PRESSURE, AND HIGH TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE, BUT IT FAILED TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO TOYOTA OF NASHUA, NEW HAMPSHIRE (LOCATED ON MARMON DR, 03060) BUT THE DEALER COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS GIVEN A LOANER VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,500. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
