Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 TOYOTA TUNDRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC (MARTINEZ BODY SHOP IN BELTON, MISSOURI) FOR HEADLIGHT REPAIRS AND THE MECHANIC NOTICED SEVERE RUST ON THE ENTIRE FRAME. THE CONTACT RECEIVED AN UNKNOWN RECALL NOTIFICATION IN 2014. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MILLEY TOYOTA IN CANTON, MISSOURI FOR AN EVALUATION AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PERFECTLY FINE AND THERE WAS NO RUST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200,000.
