Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE BRAKE LIGHT MALFUNCTIONED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE BRAKE LIGHT MELTED TO THE POINT IN WHICH IT COULD NOT BE PROPERLY REPLACED. JIM BURKE HYUNDAI OF BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON THE BRAKE LIGHTS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 92,209.
