TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FOCUS. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE TRUNK DOOR AJAR WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE TRUNK DOOR DID NOT CLOSE. THE CONTACT DID NOT TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
