Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND SHIFTED THE GEAR INTO PARK. ONCE RESTARTED, THE VEHICLE RETURNED TO NORMAL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AT 800-678-7986 AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED TO BE TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
