TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V604000 (SUSPENSION). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS RUST AND CRACKS ON THE UNDERCARRIAGE AND THE LEAF SPRINGS WERE NOT CONNECTED PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER (VALLEY HI TOYOTA 14612 VALLEY CENTER DRIVE VICTORVILLE CA 92395 780-241-6484), BUT THEY DECLINED TO ASSIST AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS IN OPERATIONAL CONDITION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 153,000.
