Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED, BUT DID NOT COMPLETELY LOSE POWER. THE CHECK ENGINE, BATTERY, AND ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THE WARNING INDICATORS WERE RESET. THE FAILURE RECURRED THE NEXT MORNING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000.
