TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD EXPLORER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER LIFTGATE INDEPENDENTLY CLOSED AND A WARNING CHIME COULD BE HEARD BEFORE THE LIFT GATE CLOSED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE LIFTGATE MODULE WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
