Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BMW 328I. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE RANDOMLY STALLED AND FAILED TO START SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT WARNING. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED BUT THE CONDITION PROGRESSED. THE CONTACT WAS NOT NOTIFIED; HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V044000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE TO DETERMINE IF A DEALER WOULD SCHEDULE A RECALL REPAIR APPOINTMENT AND DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE TO PROVIDE A REPAIR SOLUTION.
