Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2013 DODGE DART. WHILE THE CONTACT'S DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 47 MPH, SHE LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE DUE TO ICY WEATHER CONDITIONS. AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE VEERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND ULTIMATELY ROLLED OVER DOWN A HILL. THE SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER DID NOT TIGHTEN NOR DID THE AIR BAGS DEPLOY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD WHERE IT WAS DEEMED DESTROYED. THERE WAS ONE INJURY THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE DRIVER SUFFERED A SCRATCH BY THE CORNEA OF THE EYE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 91,000. UPDATED 06/21/17*LJ UPDATED 10/6/2017*JS
