Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 TOYOTA CAMRY. WHILE DRIVING 2-3 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, BUT FAILED TO OPERATE. THE VEHICLE ALSO LOST ELECTRICAL FUNCTIONALITY AND CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES IN EITHER VEHICLE AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED AND REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,000. UPDATED 06/08/17*LJ *JS
