Consumer Description
DOOR AJAR LIGHT ON ALL THE TIME DUE TO A FAULTY DOOR LATCH. THIS ISSUE CAUSES THE INTERIOR LIGHTS TO STAY ON DRAINING THE BATTERY AND CAUSING A HAZARD WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT. ALSO, THE DOORS WILL NOT LOCK WHEN DRIVING, WHICH CAN BE A HAZARD IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS. THE COST TO MAKE THIS REPAIR THROUGH FORD IS APPROXIMATELY $400, WHICH I DO NOT HAVE IN MY BUDGET. PLEASE DO A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM, SINCE IT SEEMS TO BE A RECURRING ISSUE FOR THIS MODEL. PROBLEM BEGAN AS INTERMITTENT AND HAS NOW BECOME CONSTANT. FIRST NOTICED PROBLEM AROUND JULY OF 2016
