TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO EQUIPPED WITH NITTO TERRA GRAPPLER G2 TIRES, SIZE: 285/70/17. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE REAR DRIVER'S TIRE BLEW OUT AND SHREDDED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN AND DOT NUMBER WERE UNKNOWN. THE TIRE AND VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 174,000.
