Consumer Description

AFTER GETTING LIFT GATE RECALL WHEN OPENED ALL THE WAY A LOUD POP WOULD HAPPEN. WAS TOLD STRUTS WORN. DIDN'T DO IT BEFORE. AS OF 1 DAY AGO LIFT GATE WILL OPEN LITTLE MORE THAN HALF WAY THEN JUST START CLOSING ON ITS OWN. IT CANNOT BE STOPPED. BEFORE WHEN IT BUMPED SOMETHING IT WOULD STOP OR OPEN BACK UP. NOW THERE IS NO STOPPING IT. IF A CHILD WEAR ABLE TO GET BETWEEN IT WHEN THIS HAPPENS IT WOULD KILL THEM. I WAS PARKED TRYING TO GET SOMETHING OUT OF THE BACK OF THE CAR.
