TL* THE CONTACT LEASED A 2014 BMW 328I. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND FAILED TO RESPOND. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SOFTWARE IN THE VEHICLE NEEDED TO BE UPDATED. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT THERE WAS A DIAGNOSTIC CODE FOR THE DRIVE TRAIN MALFUNCTION. THE SOFTWARE WAS UPDATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 27,564. UPDATED 05/31/17*LJ *CN
