Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT OBSERVED THAT THE FORWARD COLLISION WARNING SENSOR FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON TWO OCCASIONS. THE FIRST TIME IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE MAIN SENSOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE SENSOR WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. AFTER THE SECOND FAILURE, IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE RADIO FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED DUE TO IT BEING THE BRAIN OF THE SYSTEM. THE RADIO WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 600.
