Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA PILOT. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE FUEL CAP WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE DEALER COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE FUEL CAP NEEDED TO BE UNSCREWED AND RE-TIGHTENED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000.
