Consumer Description

FRIDAY DECEMBER 16, 2016 - 2016 FORD FUSION HYBRID, 16,000 MILES - WHILE DRIVING AT 25 MPH ON A CITY STREET SUDDENLY THE "STOP VEHICLE NOW" WARNING DISPLAYED ON MY DASH. THE VEHICLE CAME TO A COMPLETE SLOW DOWN AND WAS IN LIMP MODE AND I WAS ABLE TO GET TO THE CURB AND STOP. I SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE BECAUSE THE MANUAL ONLY PROVIDED A VAGUE EXPLANATION (MAY BE DUE TO AN ELECTRICAL FAILURE,) AND WAITED, I THEN RESTARTED THE CAR AND WAS ABLE TO DRIVE HOME NORMALLY. NOW I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA IF IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN OR WHAT IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM. DRIVING IT TO THE DEALER ON MONDAY.
