Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE STEERING COUPLING BELOW THE DASHBOARD FELT LOOSE. THE FAILURE WAS NOTICED AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V568000 (ENGINE). THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, AND WAS NO FAULT OF THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,000.
