Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM FAILED. THE DOORS AUTOMATICALLY UNLOCKED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE DOOR LATCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
