Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. WHILE STATIONARY, THE VEHICLE SLIPPED OUT OF GEAR AND ROLLED BACK INTO A SWAMP AREA. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A MECHANIC. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,800. UPDATED 01/04/17*LJ CONSUMER STATED WHILE ROLLING BACKWARD, THE BRAKES AND STEERING WERE UNRESPONSIVE. COULD NOT GET IT TO STOP. TRUCK WAS RUNNING THE ENTIRE TIME, BUT UNRESPONSIVE TO DRIVER.
