TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS SHIFTED INTO REVERSE, THE VEHICLE MADE AN ABNORMAL NOISE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V604000 (SUSPENSION) HOWEVER THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 218,000. PART DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
