Consumer Description

TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED AN INTERIM NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V046000 (AIR BAGS). THE DEALER INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO BE REPAIRED UNTIL THE MANUFACTURER SENT THE SECOND NOTIFICATION LETTER INDICATING THAT THE PARTS WERE AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
