Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER AND STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART AND RESUME DRIVING. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. IN ADDITION, WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLED, SMOKE APPEARED INSIDE THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE A FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
