Consumer Description

ENGINE SERVICE LIGHT CAME ON. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY TO OUR HOME. TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE SELLER FOR A DIAGNOSIS. WAS TOLD I NEED OIL PRESSURE SWITCH REPLACED FOR $215.00. THIS IS ON A CAR THAT WE HAVE ONLY OWNED FOR 5 MONTHS & WITH 39,000 MILES. SO WE ARE OUT OF WARRANTY & ACCORDING TO THE DEALER THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM BUT IS NOT COVERED BY ANY EXTENDED WARRANTY. SINCE THIS IS KNOWN BY CRYSLER & AN ONGOING PROBLEM. WHY IS THERE NO PERMANENT FIX?
