TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 JEEP PATRIOT. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS UNDERGOING MAINTENANCE BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FRONT SUBFRAME OF THE VEHICLE WAS SEVERELY CORRODED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CORROSION CREATED A HOLE IN THE SUBFRAME. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SAFE TO BE DRIVEN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 116,348.
