Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD F-250. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT HAD TO MANEUVER THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER. AFTER APPROXIMATELY HALF AN HOUR, THE VEHICLE RESTARTED, BUT STALLED AGAIN SIX MILES LATER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE CLOGGED INJECTOR PUMPS FAILED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 195,000.
