Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO CLOSE THE VEHICLES DOOR, THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR FAILED TO LATCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE LATCH HAD FAILED AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER THE FAILURE THEN OCCURRED ON THE REAR DRIVER SIDE DOOR. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V246000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000. UPDATED 11/29/16*LJ *TR
